New THINGS Member Svenska Uppfinnareföreningen

Svenska Uppfinnareföreningen (SUF) is a national association for local associations and individual members, and companies. The aim is to centrally promote the innovation climate, especially the individual’s possibility to contribute to future progress and wealth in the society. The association values sustainability, inclusion and equality.

Svenska Uppfinnareföreningen is the worlds oldest inventors association. It was founded 1886 by Salomon August Andrée who died while trying to reach the North Pole with a baloon, foundee by Nobel. He was also one of the first technical manager at the Swedish patent office. Nowadays they are primarily organizing free inventors all over Sweden and 20 free standing asociations. We are also founders of Tekniska Muséet, the SKAPA invertors contest and Finnupp.
