New THINGS Member, Tunable

Welcome New THINGS Member, Tunable!

Sense of Smell. Artificially Perfected.

Tunable was founded in 2015 in Oslo, Norway. The technology originates from SINTEF, an independent industrial research institute in Norway. Tunable delivers real-time multi gas analyzers combining micro and nanotechnology with infrared spectroscopy to ensure fast, reliable, and accurate measurements.

Creating the world’s most versatile gas analyzer, we are able to measure multiple gases simultaneously.

Kristina Hovet, CEO, Tunable

Tunable’s instrument offers high sensitivity within a small and robust device that can be adapted to a wide range of applications. They have launched Industrial solutions for measuring emissions and fuel gases. The commercial analyzers measure within the gas stream and integrate perfectly with industry standards and are certified. their analyzers deliver more gas readouts in one compact package than any high-end solutions available today.

Tunable will release solutions that capture gases as a nose and notify of toxic and dangerous levels in air and gaseous environments. This is relevant in surveillance, chemical processes, in the electrical distribution network and numerous other applications.

With Tunable’s technology, they can collect data from air and gaseous environments. Today they’re identifying known gases, tomorrow they will be able to identify gas mixtures we didn’t know were there.

Emissions you don’t measure can’t be reduced. Resolving this complexity is Tunable’s contribution to a more sustainable world.
