THINGS eXplore™ Venture Building #3

23 September, 15:30–17:00 CEST | Online | Free and in English

Mario Draghi’s report on the future of European competitiveness confirmed what many in technology-driven innovation already knew: Europe has underperformed in digital transformation. Despite world-class education, research, and entrepreneurial talent, we often fail to translate these into globally successful companies. If this continues, we risk becoming a museum of industrial progress rather than a driver of its future.

Now is the time to focus on deeptech—a domain where Europe still has the potential to lead, and where many of our societal and environmental challenges can be addressed. But research and talent alone are not enough. We must improve our ability to turn innovation into commercially viable ventures at scale.

Venture Building is emerging as a critical complement to traditional university tech transfer and early-stage acceleration. But what does it actually mean in practice? What are the common pitfalls, and how can we build companies that thrive?

Join us for the third edition of THINGS eXplore™ Venture Building, where we will explore these questions with experts who are building real companies in real ecosystems.
